Investing – $500
In the YouTube video, Queenie said the amount of money she has invested generates a $500 profit per month through dividends – a sum of money paid by a company to shareholders out of the profits made.
She said dividends are one of the ‘easiest ways’ to make passive income that on average generate a return of 5.5 per cent yield each year.
The BetaShares Global Sustainability Leaders ETF (ETHI) is one stock Queenie invests in each reguarly.
Queenie and Pablo have over $200,000 invested in different stocks and exchange traded funds (ETFs).
YouTube Ads – $2,000
Since March 2020 Queenie has been working on building her YouTube channel and now has over 25,000 subscribers, which helps generate an income of $2,000 per month on average.
After the first six months the page was monitored on YouTube for having 1,000 subscribers and 4,000 hours of watch time.
While she wasn’t earning any money at the start, she slowly started making hundreds of dollars each month.
As well as YouTube ads, Queenie also generates $5000 from affiliate programs shared on her platforms
Affiliates – $5,000
As well as YouTube ads, Queenie also makes $5000 from affiliate programs shared on her platforms.
‘I was already mentioning tools and products that I use to save money and also invest, so I decided to sign up to the affiliate programs for these tools,’ she said.
‘So you can get some extra benefits by using my links and I can also get a kick back too.’
Queenie mentioned she only promotes products she uses herself.
Sponsorships – $3,000
Queenie said she only participants in online paid sponsorships if the campaign ‘makes sense’ and if she uses the brand.
On average she makes $3,000 per month through sponsorships and charges $1,000 per social media post to be shared with her 100,000 followers.
‘Having affiliate and sponsorships can be great income streams, however I don’t really get to set the payment and I am relying on a third party,’ she said.
E-commerce store – $200
In her spare time, Queenie also runs an e-commerce business selling fake eyelashes, which on average turns over $150 to $200 a month.
‘All we have to do is put the lashes in the envelopes then ship them off to our customers,’ she said.
But she admitted the side hustle isn’t one she is as passionate about compared to her YouTube channel.
